Welcome to Grade 2
My name is Mrs. MacKinnon; I am so excited to be here at Dalhousie School. The month has just flown by!!!

We have been working hard in math, we are working on mental math strategies, odd and even numbers, addition using the number line with 2 digit number and we do the Number of the Day.
Science we have been learning the food groups and the foods that belong in each group!
Social Studies we are learning about Communities and neighborhoods.
ELA is ongoing and integrated into all we do. We have started Writer Workshop and spelling and home reading will be starting soon.
